Be sure they can see you before taking any turns.  If you lose sight of the person behind you\, stop and wait for them.  The person in front of you will wait and so on until the Ride Leader sees something is wrong. \n\n3. If you get separated from the group\, stay in one place and wait for us to find you. See photos above. \nDistance = Approximately 66 miles. 50% is on Club Trails and 50% is on local “User Trails”.  Ride goes from Log Cabin north on -A- Trail\, then east on the Buchite trail into Fifty Lakes.  It then heads north on the Old Grade\, south on the Arctic Trail West into Outing\, then west over to All Pine Inn\, then south back to Log Cabin. \nDifficulty = Medium. Mostly natural surfaces\, some gravel minimum maintenance roads. Start by heading north on the -A- trail\, then -B- trail\, continuing north to the Cedar Lake Loop and the Moose Rive Connector.  Then head south on the Soo Line to the Blind Lake Connector\, following it south to the Emily Blind Lake trail.  Then head east back into Emily along the EBL. \nDifficulty = Medium to difficult.  Mostly natural surfaces with some county road sections\, hard-bottom water holes\, puncheon bridges\, and tight-n-twisty and hilly sections. \nAmenities = Bathrooms & Restaurant \n  \n Ride #4 \n Inn to Inn \nLeaves at 10 a.m. \nLeaves from: Channel Inn parking lot in Outing. \nTrailer parking available at Outing ATV Parking Lot\, at Luscher’s Park\, and in front of Outing Station. This ride will take you to the Fifty Lakes Bar &  Bottle Shop\, make a stop at the Log Cabin\, then back to the Pickled Loon.  It makes use of both official club trails\, and also local user trails. \nDifficulty = Medium. Lots of puddles! Some of these are unavoidable\, so plan accordingly. Even mix of trail\, ditch\, and road. \nAmenities = Bathrooms & Restaurant \n  \n Ride #6 \n The Blind Moose Loop (counter-clockwise)\n\nLeaves at 10 a.m. \nLeaves from the old Bungalow parking lot behind the Log Cabin. \nTrailer parking available. Start by heading south then west on the Emily Blind Lake trail\, following it to the Blind Lake Connector Trail.  Head north on the Blind Lake Connector to the Soo Line\, then follow that north to the Moose River Connector trail.  Head east on Moose River Connector\, then south on Cedar Lake loop\, south on -B- Trail\, then south on -A- trail back into Emily. \nDifficulty = Medium to difficult.  Mostly natural surfaces with some county road sections\, hard-bottom water holes\, puncheon bridges\, and tight-n-twisty and hilly sections. \nAmenities = Bathrooms & Restaurant \n  \n Ride #7 \n Juice Box Cruise \nFor the kids\, and the kids at heart! \nLeaves at 11 a.m. \nLeaves from Log Cabin parking lot. \nTrailer parking available. This ride will take you to the Corner Club in Haypoint via Emily/Outing\, Moose River\, Moose River Connector\, Soo Line\, and Hill City Connector trails. \nDifficulty = Medium.  Mostly natural surfaces with just a little county and forest road included. \nAmenities = Bathrooms & Restaurant. \n  \n Ride #9 \n Clint Converse Campground/Hidden Meadows Restaurant \nLeaves at 8:30 a.m. \nLeaves from the Clint Converse Campground \nTrailer parking available onsite. \nDistance = 80-90 miles. Start at Clint Converse Campground and head south to Emily-Outing trails.  Cross Hwy 6 and pick up -A- trail headed south into Emily.  Pick up Emily Blind Lake trail and head east to Blind Lake Connector trail\, then south on Blind Lake Loops to Hidden Meadows.  Return route is the same. \nDifficulty = Medium to Difficult.  Long miles.  Some water puddles\, hills\, tight & twisty sections\, lots of Puncheon bridges! \nAmenities = Bathrooms at the campground and along the way. Following the kick-off and ribbon cutting\, we also invite you to ride the new trail\, and then join us for a lunch served by Smokey Jakes BBQ\, at a trail shelter at approximately 12:30 pm. \nBeginning in 2013\, during a club meeting\, our club voted to take on this new trail project. It has been eight long\, yet productive years\, of design\, permitting\, funding\, and construction. Many of you have come out to volunteer to help in the construction or support the trail project at public meetings. It is time to celebrate our accomplishments. \nThis new multi-use ATV trail is a 16-mile trail connecting the counties of Crow Wing and Aitkin. The trail connects two major north-central Minnesota ATV Trail systems\, the Emily Outing Moose River ATV Trails\, with the Aitkin County Northwoods Regional ATV Trail System\, forming a continuous loop of over 70-miles of Grant-In-Aid (GIA)Trail. Riders using trail amenities in the local communities of Emily\, Palisade\, Hill City and Outing will add new economic revenue for local businesses. \nPlease join me\, Club Members\, our GIA Trail Sponsor Crow Wing County\, local businesses\, the Outing and Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce\, along with other invited guests to celebrate this new recreational trail opening. Just one block east of the intersection of Crow Wing County Road 1 and MN Highway 6. This kick-off will last approximately one-half hour detailing the project\, expected impacts\, and words from guest speakers. \nOption 2: I / We would like to ride the new trail from Emily to the trail shelter located in Aitkin County for lunch. We will bring our own ATV(s). This ride will be approximately 2-hours stopping at some of the trail features along the way. The ride will leave immediately after the kick-off meeting. \nOption 3: I / We will join you for the lunch at the trail shelter beginning at approximately 12:30pm. This shelter can be driven to by a highway licensed vehicle. It is located one-half mile south of the intersection of Aitkin County 3 and Aitkin County Forest Road 52-10. A grand-opening banner will be placed at the intersection. This intersection is located approximately 11-miles east of Emily. Follow Crow Wing County 1 east\, which turns into Aitkin County Road 3\, or coming from the east and US 169\, turn west on Grove Street /Aitkin County Road 3 and travel 8.5 miles to the intersection of Aitkin County Forest Road 52-10; look for the grand opening banner.
